Caldicot Town Council is seeking a Town Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer (RFO).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, committed team working closely with 16 Councillors and the local community. 

Based in Caldicot, this is a great opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic and organised individual to play an important role in the continued development of Caldicot Town Council.

Deputy Clerk / Deputy Responsible Financial Officer (Deputy RFO)20 - 25 hours per week SPC 24– SPC 28 (£18.35 - £20.29 per hour - under review)

Caldicot Town Council are seeking a Deputy Town Clerk/Deputy Responsible Financial Officer to work in conjunction with the Town Clerk/ RFO. Be part of a team who are working work with Members in this busy Town Council to increase the services and opportunities in the local community. Working in recently refurbished offices and with a great team of staff, this is a great opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual.

Caldicot (Welsh: Cil-y-Coed) is a small town in Monmouthshire, South East Wales, located between Chepstow and Newport, just off the busy M4/M48 motorway corridor. It adjoins the Caldicot Levels, on the north side of the Severn estuary. It has easy access by motorway and rail to Cardiff, and across the Second Severn Crossing, old Severn Bridge and railway tunnel to Bristol. It is known for its medieval castle.
